Welcome to my site...
As you may know, if you know me, I've always been a bit of a storyteller for as long as I remember. I blame it on an active imagination. One of my favorite stories my grandmother used to tell was about returning from the zoo and using the long hallway of her home, where I lived, to recreate the zoo with the use of a Craoyla marker. I have this theory I would have used blue, but according to my mother, the exact phrase uttered to her was "Aww, that's wonderful! Joyce, clean that off."
In day care, around age five, I do recall having problems drawing Batman on a Lightbrite. True story! I was taught how to make stick figures, as all children are, and this technique translates well to a Lightbrite. I knew Batman had a symbol on his chest, and when I went to put that in place I realized something was wrong. It didn't fit. I didn't know what I was doing at the time, but there was I was, age five, going home to study anatomy of a actor on TV to improve my art. I realized a torso wasn’t a single stick, but a pair of sticks that framed the upper body. From that day forward I never ran out of room to draw Superman's symbol either.
These days my primary mediums are the written and visual, though I had been known to do acting on stage and for the camera (yes, there are different styles for each). I already have a degree in animation which lead to doing Machinima a few years back. Now I'm back to continue with Multimedia Development. While I work as a computer guy who is known for being creative I've decided to follow my passion of being a creative guy who is just good with fixing computers.
