Role-Play Online. I Spend a lot of time here. I’ve been running games on this system for almost a decade. It is a forum that was written from the ground up, just for role-playing and it’s free! As a GM you get to run any kind of game you want. You accept players you may never have met from all over the world. Players play with completely new identities and avatars per game so you could be playing with players you already know in different games and still never know. Built in Die Rollers and the ability to post private lines in the middle of a post to reflect whispers, or things only one player in the scene can see, are functions that I have yet to find anywhere else and that includes my own Role-playing forum (that I set up). Not to mentions just about every game system is represented and if that’s not your style there’s also free-form gaming. Over 4,000 games are running on it at any given time. Yep, there’s a reason people can get hooked.
